Pear and Butternut Squash Soup Baby Food Recipe
Pear Baby Food Recipes for (6 months+) Babies
Recipe Ingredients :
1/2 small onion, peeled and chopped
8 fl oz (1 cup) homemade chicken stock
8oz (1 cup) butternut squash, cubed
1 medium pear, peeled, cored and cubed
2oz (1/4 cup) celery, well chopped
4 fl oz (1/2 cup) milk
1 pinch chopped, fresh thyme
1 pinch oregano
little freshly ground black pepper
little olive oil
Recipe Instructions :
1. Saute the onion in the oil over a medium heat until golden brown.
2. Pour in the stock (broth), then add the squash, pears and celery.
3. Bring to a rolling boil, then lower the heat.
4. Simmer for 10 mins, then stir in the milk and seasonings.
5. Check that the veggies are tender, then cool and serve, pureeing first if desired.
