Lentil Soup and Carrot Soup Baby Food Recipe
 
Vegetable Baby Food Recipes for (6 months+) Babies
 
Recipe Ingredients :
8 oz (1 cup) dry, rinsed lentils
8 oz (1 cup) carrots, peeled and diced
1 small onion, finely chopped
34 fl oz (4 1/4 cups) of water
1 tbsp olive oil
 
Recipe Instructions :
1. In a large saucepan, gently saute the onion in the oil, until soft.
2. Add the lentils, carrots and water.
3. Bring to the boil.
4. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours, until the lentils are soft.
5. If necessary, you can puree the soup once it's cool, adding a little water to thin the mixture.
