Healthy Chicken Liver and Avocado Baby Food Recipe
 
Avocado Baby Food Recipes for (10 months+) Babies
 
Recipe Ingredients :

1 chicken liver
2 cups low-sodium vegetable stock or water
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

 
Recipe Instructions :

1. Pour vegetable stock or water into a small pot and bring to boil.
2. Thoroughly clean the chicken liver. You will want to discard any fat, skin or connecting tissue.
3. Once the liquid has reached a slight boil, reduce the heat.
4. Place liver in pot and simmer just until tender, approximately 6 to 7 minutes. Do not overcook.
5. Remove chicken liver from pot, reserving liquid.
6. Use a food mill or food processor to purée until smooth.
7. To achieve desired consistency, add small amounts of the reserved liquid.
